This class contains introductory information about Reflexology and is designed to provide anyone with tools for self-care, as well, can be used to enhanced other healing modalities. Students taking this class are not qualified to practice professional Reflexology, nor do these techniques replace traditional medicine. (Please check with your doctor if you have any concerns.)

Just imagine with a touch of a pair of loving hands you can help yourself or a loved one to release stress and anxiety by pressing on reflex points on the feet. These techniques are simple and can done in the privacy of your environment. There are no prerequisites other than having nimble fingers and thumbs, have an open mind and believe that you can be proactive with your health.

Reflexology that can help you to achieve good health, but you still have to do your part of maintaining good health through a healthy diet, exercising, recognizing your stress triggers and minimizing or eliminating your destructive behaviors.

The initial response of a reflexology session is a feeling of deep calmness and relaxation followed by a sense of rejuvenation. The many reflexology benefits are

Promote homeostasis - the balance of normalization of the body
Promote circulation and encourages the removal of toxins
Reduce stress and promotes deep relaxation
Increase the sense of well-being

What will you learn from this course:

  3. How to set up for a reflexology session
  4. How to handle foot problems
  5. How to give yourself or your loved ones a relaxing 10 minute Reflexology session.

How often to give yourself a Reflexology session? It is suggested once a week for four weeks.(If you need more than a weekly session, you can increase to two sessions in a week, but no more; too much Reflexology will overstimulate your organs and glands.) Once you begin to feel better than space out sessions to once every other week, then every three weeks, then monthly. Eventually you will know how often to give a session.

Aftercare - After each Reflexology session it is suggested to drink plenty of clear water to help flush out toxins (half your weight in ounces.)

Accompanying manual - If you print the manual, please choose "booklet" in your print setting. The booklet will print two pages at a time, back to back.

She has reflexology certificates in foot, hand, ear, pediatric, fertility, pain management, advance digestive, musculoskeletal, and Acupressure Reflexology from the New England Institute of Reflexology in Bourne, MA.

Helen received her 3 year energy medicine certification from the Rhys Thomas School of Energy Medicine in Medway, MA. and she received her Reiki 1, 2, and master level studying with Lisa Campion.

When Helen isn’t healing she is teaching or researching. She teaches various self-healing classes including Reiki, and self-care reflexology workshops.

When does the course start and finish?
The course starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish.

How often can I receive a Reflexology session?
